Bang on a Can is a A New York City-based non-profit presenting over 70 annual events via 7 satellite programs. Founded in 1987 with the mission of making music more accessible to the masses, the organization remains committed to that concept over 25 years later.

At the start of 2012, I managed the creation, launch, and content development of www.bangonacan25.org, an interactive community-based website in honor of the organization's 25th Anniversary. The concept? Offer a free, exclusive mp3 album download in exchange for a written Bang on a Can memory published on the site. The campaign reached over 9k readers in 30 days, touching luminaries such as David Bowie: bang bang bang bang bang - bang bang bang bang - - bang bang bang - - - bang bang - - - - bang - - - - - love it. ~ David Bowie 2011 |
Reward Based E-Newsletters
From September, 2010- January 2015, I over tripled the Bang on a Can newsletter list via reward-based content inviting subscriber involvement. A collegial tone is at the heart of Bang on a Can social media profiles. I created BOAC Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube profiles not only to highlight organizational programs, but also to foster the free exchange of art and ideas throughout the digital community.
