POSSESSED: Communications + Project Manager, June, 2013 - 2014
Possessed is a site-specific environmental duet, partnering the physical and acoustical beauty of Moab, Utah's natural habitat with double bassist Robert Black's evocative improvisation. It will be a state-of-the-art multimedia release on Cantaloupe Music consisting of three parts: a hi-definition surround sound DVD capturing Robert’s improvisatory collaboration with Moab’s stunning natural environment; a stereo CD featuring both music from the DVD as well as additional exclusive material; and Possessed: The Devil's Garden, a visual art companion book to the DVD featuring original photography and art by Elliott Fredouelle.
In my role as communications and project manager, I wrote all fundraising copy, created and launched the donation webpage, composed and sent all e-newsletters, managed social media outreach, and created audio/visual material. At the conclusion of the campaign, we exceeded our goal raising over $18,000.

PEOPLE'S COMMISSIONING FUND: Videographer + Editor, December, 2012 - March, 2013
The People’s Commissioning Fund is a radical partnership between artists and audiences to commission works from adventurous composers. Created by nonprofit collective Bang on a Can in 1997, the People's Commissioning Fund is arguably the first crowd-sourced fundraising model in the new music world. The idea is simple yet highly effective: we bundle together hundreds of individual contributions of all sizes and select three or more new composers to write pieces for a resident ensemble.
For the 2013 PCF campaign, I served as videographer, filming and editing a DIY fundraising video featuring interviews and performance footage. I also edited web & newsletter copy and managed social media outreach. As of March 14, we raised $42,803.
